Los Angeles Regional Collaborative for Climate Action and Sustainability

The Los Angeles Regional Collaborative for Climate Action and Sustainability is a network designed to encourage greater coordination and cooperation at the local and regional levels by bringing together leadership from government, the business community, academia, labor, environmental and community groups. The purpose of this collaboration is to share information, foster partnerships, and develop system-wide strategies to address climate change and promote a green economy through sustainable communities.

UCLA Center for Climate Change Solutions

The UCLA Center for Climate Change Solutions is dedicated to catalyzing solutions to the threats and consequences of global climate change by bridging the gap between science and society. The CCCS facilitiates cross-disciplinary research on technological and science-based solutions to the causes and consequences of climate change. Through the use of outreach specialists trained in science and policy, the CCCS communicates between scientists and decision-makers. The CCCS is committed to educating current and future leaders in global decision-making strategies through workshops, symposia, courses, online resources, and innovative curriculum. The CCCS: partnering with scientists, policy-makers, businesses, and community leaders to bring about positive, sustainable solutions to the challenges of global climate change.
